- Physical Development
- Creative Development
- Personal, Social and Emotional Development
- Problem Solving, Reasoning and Numeracy
At Daisy Chain, we cover a range of different celebrations from around the world as well as from our own country. This allows the children to be introduced to different cultural and religious festivities, giving them an awareness of the cultures and beliefs of others.
We have an outdoor area of which the children enjoy a range of activities and experiences, with undercover areas to allow them an outdoor classroom all year round.
Situated in our outdoor area we have a log cabin called 'Glenn's Den' which houses a soft play area and ball pool, an added physical and stimulating experience for children of all ages and stages of development to enjoy.
The children also get to explore their outdoor environment by going on walks and organised outings to visit their local neighbourhood. The children get to enjoy visiting the promenade park, the town centre and the library. They also have the opportunity to participate in arranged outings including; summer trips, carol singing at our local residential home, and delivering Harvest Festival goods to the elderly.
Our healthy eating policy promotes the 'five a day' fruit and vegetable guideline as implemented by the government. We have a cook that prepares our meals and snacks daily, using fresh ingredients and ensuring that children's allergies and diets are taken into account. Please click here to see a sample menu.
